Project Background

Goals

  • Stand out in a sea of over 1,800 exhibitors at SEMA 2022 — an automotive aftermarket trade show that attracts over 180,000 attendees.

  • Launch an integrated marketing campaign at the event.

  • Present Shopmonkey as an authentic company that is more than just a software solution, but also a strategic business partner that cares deeply about the success of its customers.

Creative Process

Strategy Development

  • Defined the booth messaging theme and campaign strategy that focused on showcasing "Real customers. Real experiences. Real results."

Campaign Messaging Creation

  • Developed messaging and created a messaging source document for all stakeholders in Marketing to reference.

Writing Authentic Booth Copy

  • Wrote all booth copy and worked with Customer Success to gather customer quotes to include on the booth to add authentic credibility.

Bringing It to Life

  • Collaborated heavily with the Creative Design team to bring the messaging vision from concept to a stunning reality.

Carrying the Campaign into Q1

  • Developed integrated marketing campaign content to refresh the campaign after the holidays.

Going Beyond Booth Copy

  • Advocated to take the authenticity of the booth to the next level by having real Shopmonkey customers staff the booth.

  • Worked with the Customer Success team to create and execute a pilot program with six customers. (These customers ended up influencing 33% of the deals closed from SEMA.)
